Add VODV Radio to your home screen or desktop. Listening is open to everyone. No host account or app-store download is required.

Choose your device below and follow its browser steps.

iPhone & iPad
  1. Open this station in Safari, outside another app’s built-in browser.
  2. Tap Share (the square with an upward arrow). If needed, open the browser’s More menu first.
  3. Choose Add to Home Screen. You may need to scroll down or edit the list of actions.
  4. If shown, turn on Open as Web App. Tap Add. Open VODV Radio from your home screen.
Android phones & tablets
  1. Open the station in Chrome. On Samsung devices, Chrome or Samsung Internet can be used.
  2. Tap the browser menu (⋮ in Chrome). Choose Add to home screen or Install app. In Samsung Internet, look for Add page to → Home screen.
  3. Choose Install when offered and confirm. If only Create shortcut appears, that adds a browser shortcut instead.
  4. Open VODV Radio from your home screen or app list.
Windows, Chromebook & Linux
  1. Open the station in Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
  2. Use the install icon beside the address bar. Or in Chrome open ⋮ → Cast, save and share → Install page as app. In Edge open … → Apps → Install this site as an app.
  3. Confirm Install. Browser wording may vary by version.
  4. Open VODV Radio from your app launcher, Start menu or desktop shortcut. Pin it if your browser offers that option.
Mac
  1. On macOS Sonoma 14 or later, open the station in Safari.
  2. Choose File → Add to Dock, or Share → Add to Dock.
  3. Name it VODV Radio and click Add. Open it from the Dock, Applications or Spotlight.
  4. Alternatively, use Chrome’s install icon or Cast, save and share → Install page as app. On older Safari, bookmark the station or use a compatible browser.
Other browsers, TVs & in-app browsers
  1. If you opened the station inside a social app, choose Open in browser, or copy its address into Safari, Chrome or Edge.
  2. If no install option appears, update the browser and reopen the station in its own tab. The browser may suppress prompts if it is already installed.
  3. Firefox, TV, console and other browsers vary in installation and audio support. If installation is unavailable, bookmark the station and listen in a supported browser.
  4. The web app is not an APK or an app-store download. A home-screen shortcut may open in your browser rather than a standalone window.

Internet is required for music, calls and messages. Keep the broadcasting host’s app open and device awake during a live show. Your operating system may pause background audio.

After installing

  1. Open the VODV Radio icon and tap Listen live to enable audio.
  2. Allow microphone access only when you want to call or record a message.
  3. Hosts: choose Host sign-in and use your station credentials. You may need to sign in again in the installed app.

Updates & removal

The app loads the current station when online. Reopen it after your show to receive updates; do not refresh a broadcasting tab during a live segment. Remove the app through your device’s app settings or remove its home-screen shortcut.
